I've never been someone who has a lot of money to spend on the latest clothes or trends, when buying clothes I tend to look at the quality of the garment, I think a lot about how long the item will last and what it's made of because for me that is one of the most important factors in buying clothes.
The fashion Industry is the third most polluting industry in the world. In an industry where fast fashion is all the rage there comes a time where people have to look towards a more sustainable way of producing garments. A company that takes sustainability seriously is Levi Strauss. The brand has been modernised and transformed, they emphasise sustainability from how and where the garments are made to the longevity of there garments after the sale. As part of their 2013 spring collection the fashion icon created a new "waste less line", the biggest feature in the line was that each pair of jeans included around eight recycled bottles with denim fabric. Levis is now one of many companies who are changing how they deal with sustainability such as Marks and Spencer, Nike and Puma.
